Uni Clear Mylar Tinsel is clear tinsel wrapped on a spool.  Being clear, many like to wrap another material on the body of their flies and then wrap the clear tinsel over that initial wrap. It adds a protective layer to the fly’s body for increased durability, and it adds a shine to the body that can attract fish.
